Day 1: Hanoi - Yen Bai - Nghia Lo - Muong Lo Valley. Homestay In Nghia Lo (L/D)

Morning activities:

Travel out Hanoi city and travel to Yen Bai. Drive you to west of Hanoi following the national way – No.32 to Nghia Lo district of Yen Bai province. En route is the chance for you to see and admire beautiful scenery of Vietnam mountains. Have a lunch in local restaurant in Nghia Lo.

Afternoon & evening activities:

Have a sightseeing at Muong Lo valley where has the beautiful terrace fields in Nghia Lo. Muong Lo Valley in Nghia Lo Town is the second biggest valley in the mountainous North-West. You can see and meet Thai minority people in the valley , suspension bridges, etc to know more of local life.

Check in to the room and then you have time to enjoy stunning views of countryside and nature, visit local villages, experience daily life. Have the special dinner with traditional dishes cooked by Thai professional chef. Overnight at homestay.

Day 2: Nghia Lo - Tram Tau - Cu Vai Village - Tu Le. Homestay In Tu Le (B/L/D)

Morning activities:

Leave Nghia Lo after having breakfast with the family to reach Tram Tau District – 30km far away to the southwest.

Tram Tau has the border with Son La Province. Especially, it is 60km from Tram Tau to Bac Yen Town of Son La Province and the road is almost impassable. You reach Cu Vai village in Xa Ho commune where is a high hill with the homeland of H’Mong people. It is a separate hill of Cu Vai village which brings you a wonderful scenery of mountain as well as local life of Hmong people. Along the road it can be difficult and you can see the home of Thai people.

Cu Vai village has the spectacular untouched natural scenery. Especially you climb these mountains from December to early March, you can step on the heavenly beauties when white clouds cover surrounding the mountain peak. However, if travel on rainy days, the road will be difficult to travel.

Afternoon & evening activities:

After having wonderful experience at the real life of untouched village you return back Nghia Lo and go ahead to Tu Le where you will have an overnight here. Check in homestay and have dinner with the family. Evening just simple interact with local family and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. Overnight at homestay.

Day 3: Khau Pha Pass - Discover Beauties Of Terrace In Mu Cang Chai. O/n In Mu Cang Chai (B/L/D)

Morning activities:

You wake up and take photo of sunrise if the weather is fine and sunny. You leave Tu Le and travel through Khau Pha Pass where has the beautiful scenery to catch photo. Then go ahead to Mu Cang Chai and spend full day here to discover its amazing scenery.

Visit and take photograph Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field of Hmong people. And then visit as well as take photograph at Che Xu Phinh, La Phan Tan. It’s recognized the national landscape of Vietnam in 2007 where have famous and nicest terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai District. Take motorbike to reach Mam Xoi Hill where has the beautiful sight of terrace field. Back Mu Cang Chai for having lunch at local foodstall.

Afternoon & evening activities:

This afternoon you continue to visit Kim Noi village also has beautiful terrace field. Have dinner at homestay. Evening is the time for interact with local people to learn more of their culture. Overnight at stilt-house. Homestay in Mu Cang Chai.

Day 4: Mu Cang Chai - Tu Le - Nghia Lo - Hanoi (B/L)

Morning activities :

Breakfast at family. This morning you leave Mu Cang Chai for return Tu Le where you can have more trek to Lim Mong (Black H’Mong people), Lim Thai (White Thai people) village (5 km) where you can see terrace fields and local life. Then continue to Nghia Lo. You will pass through again Khau Pha Pass and enjoy its beautiful and spectacular view of the unique pass in north Vietnam. Have lunch at local food stall.

Afternoon & evening activities:

This afternoon guide and driver transfer you to return Hanoi city. Your trip will end at hotel in Hanoi. Wish you a great journey to terrace field Mu Cang Chai and untouch Cu Vai village for the unforgettable time!
