Day 1: Hai Phong – Cai Trap Canal – Lan Ha Bay. O/n Maya Cruise

Morning activities:

Leave on shuttle bus at 9.00 am from hotels Hanoi Old Quarter and travel on highway to reach Got Ferry of Hai Phong city. You arrive in the ferry around 11:30 am
Optional: You can choose a private car or stayed already in Hai Phong you move to Got Ferry to start joining Maya Cruise.

Afternoon activities:

Get on the tender from the ferry to Maya Cruise and pass through Cai Trap canal. Welcome on Maya Cruise, make check in and enjoy a welcome drinks. At once time you listen to the cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in from our cruise guide. After that you start the journey to discover Lan
Proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Enjoy amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner while having lunch on board.
Continue to Tra Bau area of Lan Ha Bay where separates part of Halong Bay. Here you can try at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim on a quiet area. This is a great experience to immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters of the bay and enjoy free cocktail on Floating Bar.

Start the new day with enjoy the sunrise over the bay with amazing scenery. Have Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. Enjoy coffee, tea for breakfast while viewing the morning seascapes of the bay
Then you get on a day boat to visit Viet Hai village where you can have a cycling time along the village to discover its beauties. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo… you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).
Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay and have lunch served on day boat.

This afternoon you visit Ba Trai Dao beach area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. The region is known for its pristine beaches and spectacular beauty, having about 400 fascinating islands. Different from Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay’s islands are forested, and most are small in stature.
Have a kayaking through the bay or simply enjoy a swimming on emerald sea water. It will give you a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area. (If the weather permits).
