1. Ripe rice season (September – November)

Trekking routes in Sapa

1. Cat Cat – Lao Chai – Ta Van

Day trekking itinerary of 10 km.

The journey starts from Sapa town. Go to Sapa market to explore local life. Then, walk 3km to Cat Cat village to explore the Hmong village and admire the terraced fields. Continue, walk along Muong Hoa valley to reach Lao Chai village – home of the Black Hmong people.

After exploring Lao Chai village, you continue to Ta Van village. This is the village of the Giay people. Admire the beautiful terraced rice fields in Sapa. Return to Sapa town. End of 1 day trekking journey.

2. Trekking in Sapa 2 days

Experience journey for tourists with short time in Sapa. 2 days is enough for you to explore the beauty of the villages through beautiful trekking routes. Immerse yourself in the natural atmosphere and learn about the culture of the indigenous people.

  • Day 1: Sapa Town – Sa Seng – Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai. O/N At Homestay In Giang Ta Chai
  • Day 2: Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa

3. Sapa Trekking And Homestay 3 Days

A 3 days trip with 38 km of walking will help you further explore the beauty of the villages in Muong Hoa valley. Come to Sapa to discover the culture of the H’Mong, Red Dao, Giay,… and beautiful landscapes.

  • Day 1: Sapa – Trek Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai. Homestay In Lao Chai. The same trek route is about 14km.
  • Day 2: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho. Homestay Ban Ho Village. Walk about 16km.
  • Day 3: More Trek Ban Ho – Nam Toong – Sapa. Trekking 8km.

4. Conquer Fansipan peak – The most unique trekking route in Sapa

Trekking Fansipan is a route full of difficulties and challenges. The journey with many steep climbs and long walks takes you to the top of Fansipan mountain – the roof of Dong Duong. Although trekking is difficult, you will be captivated by the beauty of the natural landscape.
