Location

Khanh Hoa is a coastal province in the South Central Coast. It’s bordering Phu Yen province to the north, Dak Lak province to the northwest, Lam Dong province to the southwest, Ninh Thuan province to the south and the East Sea to the east. There is Hon Doi cape on Hon Gom peninsula, Van Ninh district, which is the easternmost point on the land of our country.

How Khanh Hoa is unique?

Khanh Hoa’s natural area, both on land and over 200 islands and archipelago about 5,197 km2. The coast is 385 km long with many estuaries, lagoons, bays, islands and vast seas. Especially, Khanh Hoa has Truong Sa island district. It’s very important economic position and national security. Khanh Hoa currently consists of 2 cities under the province (Nha Trang and Cam Ranh).

Khanh Hoa has a long coastline and nearly 200 islands, large and small bays like Van Phong, Nha Trang, Cam Ranh … with mild climate, average temperature of 26⁰C, more than 300 sunny days a year and many Other famous historical and cultural relics. In May 2003, Nha Trang Bay was recognized as an official member of the most beautiful bay in the World.

When is the best time to travel to Khanh Hoa?

Khanh Hoa climate has unique deformation features with distinct characteristics. Compared with other provinces and cities from Ca Pass in the North and from the Ghenh Da Silver to the South. Khanh Hoa’s climate is relatively more moderate due to the nature of the ocean climate.

There are usually only two distinct seasons, the rainy and dry seasons. From January to August, it can be considered as the dry season, the weather changes gradually. In the early months of the season, it is cool, the temperature is from 17-25° C. But from May to August it is hot and the temperature can reach 34° C (in Nha Trang) and 37-38° C (at Orange line). The short rainy season, from about mid-September to mid-December calendar, focuses on October 2 and November.

The appropriate time to travel to Khanh Hoa is from May to May every year, at this time the sea is calm and the weather is still a bit cool. However, from June to September, besides having a little hot sun, there is no problem to worry if coming to Khanh Hoa on this occasion. How to travel to Khanh Hoa?

Khanh Hoa has a relatively developed infrastructure system. It’s located on important coastal roads in Vietnam such as: National Highway 1A running along the coast from Ca Pass to Ghenh Da Bac connecting to the neighboring provinces. North and South; Highway 26 connecting Ninh Hoa with Dak Lak and the Central Highlands provinces; road 723 (Nha Trang to Da Lat) and the North-South highway project going through Khanh Hoa. Currently from Hanoi and Saigon every day there are high-quality buses going to district cities in Khanh Hoa province.

1. Travel by train

As one of the major stations of the North-South railway. Nha Trang station is a stop and transit place for most travelers who want to take the train to Khanh Hoa.

From Hanoi daily, there are SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7 and SE9 trains departing from Hanoi and stopping in Nha Trang with a travel time of 24-28 hours. The best train to Nha Trang during the day so you can start the journey is always SE5 (departing from Hanoi at 8:50 and arriving in Nha Trang at 10:44 the next day). Also you can book SE7 (departing from Hanoi at 6:00 and arrive in Nha Trang at 8:24 the next day)

From Saigon, daily trains SE2, SE4, SE6, SE8, SE10, SE22, SQN2, SNT2 depart from Saigon station and stop at Nha Trang station with a travel time of about 6-9 hours. Trains are the most suitable SE6 departure from Saigon at 8.45 am and went to Nha Trang at 15h58 , SE8 departure from Saigon at 6.00am and to Nha Trang at 13h21.

2. Travel by airplane

There are daily direct flights to Cam Ranh from Hanoi by Vietjet, Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo, round-trip tickets range from 2000-3000k with a flight time of about 2 hours. From Saigon, the flight time will be shorter (about 1 hour) and the ticket price will only fluctuate around 1000k. You can move from Cam Ranh airport to central Nha Trang by bus or taxi.

Accommodation in Khanh Hoa

Due to the early development of tourism, the number of 5-star resorts and hotels in Khanh Hoa is relatively large. But the mainly in Nha Trang and the northern part of the Cam Ranh peninsula. 1. Nha Trang

2. Yen Island

3. Aquarium Institute

The Oceanographic Institute is one of the earliest scientific research institutions in Vietnam. And is considered the largest marine artifact and research facility in Southeast Asia. Visiting the Institute, visitors will see firsthand the Museum of Marine Life with over 20,000 specimens of more than 4,000 types of marine and freshwater creatures. That have been collected and preserved for many years, besides the living specimens raised.

4. Ponagar tower

It is a Cham Pa temple located on the top of a small hill. And about 10-12 meters above sea level, at the mouth of the Cai River (river). Nha Trang) in Nha Trang, about 2 km north of the city center, now belongs to Vinh Phuoc ward. The name “Po Nagar Tower” is used to refer to the whole structure, but actually it is the name of the largest tower about 23 meters high. This temple was built during the Hindu (Hindu) era that flourished when Champa was in the period known as the United Kingdom, so the goddess image has the shape of Umar, the wife of Shiva.

5. Nha Trang mountain church

The Mountain Church (officially called: The Cathedral of Christ the King) is a Catholic church in Nha Trang city. This church also has many popular names. 6. Robinson Island
