Phieng Phang community tourism village is located in Phieng Phang village, Yen Duong commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, Vietnam. About 50 km northwest of Bac Kan city and about 212 km north of Hanoi capital.

Phieng Phang village has 42 households and 57 people. All of them are Dao ethnic people in Que Lam, who discovered this land and settled hundreds of years ago. The whole village is located halfway up Pu Lau mountain peak, this is a mountain peak located on the green, quiet Phja Bjooc range. This location is high enough to enjoy a pleasant climate all year round. It is also low enough for the Dao people of Guilin to have a relatively flat area for agricultural cultivation.

In order to move to Phieng Phang Community Tourism Village. You must first move to Ba Be district of Bac Kan province. About 220 km from Hanoi, you can easily travel to Ba Be, Bac Kan. With many means of transportation choices such as motorbikes, cars, and buses.

4.1 By Personal Vehicle

In addition, for tourists in the Southern and Middle region of Vietnam, you can choose a bus, train. If you want to move more quickly and conveniently, you should choose a plane to Hanoi. Then continue to move to Bac Kan.

4.3 Moving To Ba Be Tourist Area

If traveling by personal means of transportation. You can follow the instructions of Google map or follow the reference route below.

From Hanoi, you follow the route: Hanoi – Thai Nguyen highway -> turn to National Highway 3 -> go to the intersection with TL 268 -> turn left and move towards Dinh Hoa (Chu Market) -> move along Follow route 254 to Bang Lung ( Cho Don) -> continue going about 36 km to Ba Be.

4.4 From Ba Be National Park to Phieng Phang Community Tourism Village

From Ba Be Tourist Area, you follow provincial road DT254 to the Northeast for about 15 km and then encounter a fork. From here, you continue going straight to National Highway 279 to the Northeast about 10 km more and then come to a fork. You turn right onto provincial road DT258 and continue moving south about 10km and then continue to meet a fork. From here, you turn right onto an inter-district road, move southwest about 6.5 km to reach Phieng Phang Community Tourism Village.

5. Exploring the beauty of Phieng Phang Community Tourism Village

Coming here, you can visit the Pu Lau bamboo forest. With it’s tens of hectares wide and tens of thousands of green bamboo trees stretching straight up to the sky. Watching Pu Lau waterfall in four seasons. The water pours down from the top of the mountain, the foam is white water like a white silk strip on the green forest floor.

A young girl from the Dao ethnic group will take tourists to visit the Nep Tai rice fields. The rice fields here are not flat, vast like the plains, but undulating and winding. From high to low mountain slopes like terraced fields, with some sections being flat like the fields of the Tay people. Interspersed in the rice fields, there are strange large and small natural rocks, unintentionally creating a highlight for taking photos for tourists that could not be more wonderful. The new things in the Nep Tai rice fields area are the decoration gates, nameplates, and miniature landscapes to attract tourists.
