1. Geographical location of Dai Tu district

Dai Tu district is located about 25km northwest of Thai Nguyen city center. About 100km northwest of Hanoi city center.

The west of the district borders Tuyen Quang province, the north borders Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province. The south borders Vinh Phuc province and the east borders Phu Luong district, Thai Nguyen province.

4.1. Travel by bus:

Tourists in Hanoi can go to major bus stations to buy tickets from Hanoi to Dai Tu. Giap Bat bus station, My Dinh bus station. Car prices range from 100k – 150k VND/person. And travel time is about 1.5 – 2 hours. The advantages of passenger cars are that they travel quickly, buy tickets easily, and the price is relatively reasonable. 4.2. Travel by motorbike:

Nui Coc Lake is located in Tan Thai commune, Dai Tu district, 15km northwest of Thai Nguyen city and about 96km from Hanoi capital. This is one of the top tourist destinations that every visitor to Dai Tu district chooses. This place is also known as “Ha Long Bay” of Thai Nguyen province.

Coming to Nui Coc Lake, visitors can not only visit and admire the beautiful lake scenery surrounded by rows of green trees, but also explore caves: “Fairy World and Palace”, “Three Cay Pine” cave. ” or visit the complex “Theory of Cause and Effect – Golden Waterfall Sacred Pagoda”. 5.2. La Bang tea hill and Suoi Kem

La Bang tea hill and Suoi Kem are located in Rung Van hamlet. It’s about 35km northwest of Thai Nguyen city. La Bang tea hill is known as a green tea hill covering all four sides, stretching over many hills. The bowl-shaped tea hills keep winding, one after another without stopping, satisfying any nature lover. The scene is like a painting skillfully arranged by nature and human hands.

Mixed with the greenness of the tea hills is the sound of gurgling stream water surrounding the tea hills. The spring water is fresh and cool coming from Tam Dao mountain. On both sides of the stream are patches of grass mixed with rocks and colorful wildflowers. Visitors coming here can immerse themselves in the cool stream and can set up camping tents right next to the stream to cool off and relax.

Cua Tu Stream is located in Hoang Nong commune. It’s 45km northwest of Thai Nguyen city center. Cua Tu Stream consists of 7 waterfalls, flowing through cliffs and towering mountain slopes, shielded by vast ancient trees. To explore the stream, visitors are forced to hike through moss-covered rocks and swim through cool, clear blue lakes.

The stream has only one way up and down, and is located between high mountains. The stream water is high and low. So very few people can conquer the source of the stream. Cua Tu Stream still retains the wild and majestic beauty that nature bestows. In addition to the beauty that nature bestows, Cua Tu Stream delights visitors with its fresh, cool atmosphere, separate from the noise and dust of urban life.

5.4. 27/7 relic area

The relic site is located in Hung Son town. It’s about 25km northwest of Thai Nguyen city. A large project built by the State at the place of origin on War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947). The relic site is a place to worship heroes who have contributed to defending the country. Therefore, this place has attracted many tourists to come here to respectfully light incense sticks to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the independence and freedom of the country.

5.5. Van Mountain – Vo Mountain Relics

Van Mountain – Vo Mountain relic is located in Van Yen commune. It’s only 35km northwest of Thai Nguyen city. Van Mountain – Vo Mountain is a relic worshiping the famous general Luu Nhan Chu, including two Van mountains and Vo mountains – symbols of the courage of the ancient hero.

Currently, the Van-Nui Vo relic complex has been ranked as a National Monument and invested in building projects such as the Temple of General Luu Nhan Chu, memorial house, green campus, and rest stations for guests. 6.1. Dai Tu Sour Meatball

Nem chua Dai Tu is also a dish that many people know and love. Nem is made from lean pork butt meat, garlic, pepper, mushrooms, guava leaves, and wine. It is wrapped in banana leaves and left for a few days until it is ripe and can be eaten. Unlike other types of spring rolls in other regions, Dai Tu spring rolls are grilled over charcoal or rolled in a hot pan. Thanks to that, it creates a difference, also helps the spring rolls smell more fragrant, and eat more delicious and nutritious.

6.2. Forest honey
