4. How to get to Meo Vac?

4.1 From Hanoi to Ha Giang city

If coming to Ha Giang by personal vehicle such as motorbike or private car, visitors can choose the following 2 routes:

  • Depart from Hanoi – Highway 32 Son – Tay – Trung Ha bridge – Co Tiet – Phong Chau bridge (you cross Phong Chau bridge and turn left). Then follow Thao river to Phu Tho town – Doan Hung then go Enter Tuyen Quang – follow Highway 2 to Ha Giang.
  • Departing from Hanoi – Vinh Phuc – Viet Tri – Phu Tho – Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang (or to National Highway 2C and National Highway 2, about 280 km long).

4.2 From Ha Giang city to Meo Vac

5.3 Tu San Canyon

Tu San Canyon is known as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia, with a cliff height of up to 800m, 1.7km long and nearly 1 km deep, a unique wonder in the Dong Van stone plateau. This canyon is the product of miraculous natural creation millions of years ago, when this place was still submerged in the vast ocean.

Tu San Canyon is one of the most beautiful valleys of Ha Giang, with terraced fields, streams and waterfalls, creating a majestic and pristine natural picture. This area is also surrounded by high mountains, with peaks as sharp as cat ears.
