The Dong Dinh Museum is located on a sloping of Hoang Sa Road, Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang. This memorial garden has reproduced the ancient features, as a unique cultural address harmonious combination. It’s conservation of forest ecological space and the space of artistic culture.
How Dong Dinh Museum is unique?
Situated on a forested hillside close to Hoang Sa road. The Dinh Dong museum intends to exploit the advantages of the natural landscape. Special exhibits in a complex of architecture impressive houses. The combination between traditional and modern.
Here, visitors can relax and look at the world of woods. The project owners care in harmony between architecture and ecological functions. The museum follows a pattern of cottage gardens in the midland of Quang province with fruit trees and grassy green pasture. Which are arranged with small stone paths around the garden. These paths give the visitor a relaxed feeling as they return to their own childhood garden. Then they decided to create and named it to “The Dong Dinh Museum – mean a garden of the sign”.
The memory is recovered by the image of a family tree (a place called the top of the tree). It’s a type of evergreen coconut trees, growing in the Son Tra nature reserve where the owner named his museum.

Dong Dinh Museum is the first private museum in the Central. It was granted by Da Nang People’s Committee in operation in early 2011. This is a comprehensive collection museum by owner Doan Huy Giao. The purpose of the Dong Dinh Museum is not to focus on profit as a normal business, but rather to create a modest cultural address, contributing to the general culture of Da Nang city.
The museum is also home to collections of art and culture, as well as places for small events such as fine art workshops and rotating exhibitions of works of art by authors at home and abroad.
