Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter or at our cruise waiting lounge if you have booked the shuttle service with us. The journey to Halong Bay will take approximately 2.5 hours.

Arrive at Halong International Harbor (Sun Harbor) in Halong City. Our friendly staff will warmly welcome you at the Essence Grand Cruise waiting lounge.
12:00 – 12:15: Embarkation – Cruise Briefing – Check-in
Once on board the Essence Grand Cruise, enjoy a welcome drink at Cloud Nine restaurant during the cruise briefing. Check-in to your spacious and luxurious suite.
13:00: Lunch – Cloud Nine Restaurant
Savor a delicious lunch served at Cloud Nine restaurant as the Essence Grand Cruise cruises amidst the stunning scenery of Halong Bay with its numerous islands and islets.
14:30 – 15:15: Luon Cave – Kayaking or Bamboo Boat Ride
Explore the hidden gem of Luon Cave, an enchanting lagoon perfect for kayaking. Alternatively, you can leisurely paddle around the lagoon in a traditional bamboo boat. Marvel at the impressive karst formations up close.
15:30 – 16:30: Titop Island – Climbing or Swimming
Visit Titop Island, renowned for its crescent moon-shaped beach and serene blue waters. Climb the 400 steep steps to the peak for a panoramic view of Halong Bay from a height of 100 meters—an unforgettable experience.
14:30 – 17:30: Onboard Activities
If you prefer to stay on board, indulge in various services and activities such as La Spa (spa and massage), swimming pool, pool bar, cigar club, poker, 3D golf simulator, billiards, table soccer, and access to our library. Children can have fun at the kid’s club.
17:30: Sunset & Happy Hour
Experience the mesmerizing sunset, considered one of the most beautiful in Asia, from our Lighthouse Sky Bar. Enjoy signature cocktails and a cooking demonstration as the sun bathes the water in golden hues amidst the dramatic limestone peaks and emerald-green coves.
19:00: Dinner at Cloud Nine Restaurant
Delight your taste buds with a selection of Western and Vietnamese cuisine meticulously prepared by our talented chefs. After dinner, unwind in your luxurious suite, pamper yourself at La Spa, try your hand at squid fishing, or socialize with fellow guests at our poker club, cigar club, karaoke club, sky bar, or pool bar. Overnight stay on the Essence Grand Cruise.
