Itinerary Details

Day 1: Travel From Hanoi To Halong Bay And Explore Lan Ha Bay With Mon Cheri Cruise

Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, or choose to be picked up at 34 Hoa Ma Street, Hai Ba Trung District, or Hanoi Opera House (with an additional charge for shuttle bus bookings) between 8:20am to 9:00am. A Limousine D-car will be waiting to transport you to No.34 Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh, where you will be welcomed by the crew members of Mon Cheri Cruise at 12:00pm. After boarding our support vessel, we’ll cruise from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious Mon Cheri Cruise, while enjoying a special lunch of fresh food and appetizing delicacies, and soaking in the stunning landscape of Lan Ha Bay.

At 3:00pm, we’ll explore the Dark and Bright cave, renowned for its pristine natural beauty and scenic seascape. Take some photos of the romantic, lyrical sights, and engage in bamboo boat or kayaking, an exciting activity to discover the true beauty of the limestone mountains and blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. Later, immerse yourself in the emerald green waters of Lan Ha Bay with swimming activities, or relax in the mini pool with jacuzzi on board the Mon Cheri Cruise.

Return to the Mon Cheri Cruise at 4:30pm and marvel at the stunning sunset views at Lan Ha Bay. From 5:30pm to 6:30pm, join the cooking demonstration and “happy hour” with buy one, get one free. At 7:30pm, relish a romantic dinner at the restaurant on Mon Cheri Cruise. Afterwards, unwind on the cruise by watching famous films, listening to music, or fishing for squid with the sailors.

Day 2: Explore Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba National Park

Rise and shine at 6:00am with an invigorating Tai-chi class on the deck while watching the sunrise.

Fuel up for the day with breakfast served at the restaurant from 6:45am to 7:15am.

At 8:00am to 8:30am, hop on the day tour cruise and venture beyond Lan Ha Bay to admire the beauty of the Bay with its thousands of islets.

From 10:30am to 11:00am, set off on a journey to discover the serene Viet Hai village by bike or tram, through vast rice fields. Stop to rest and visit an old house made from straw, mud, bamboo and learn about the lives of the friendly locals.

Return to the day tour cruise by 12:15pm to 1:30pm and savor lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.

At 1:30pm, the cruise takes you to a pristine beach area where you can enjoy swimming or kayaking activity.

Head back to Mon Chéri Cruises by 4:30pm and watch the sunset fall on Ha Long Bay while sipping a cocktail and relaxing to soothing or vibrant music.

At 7:30pm, delight in dinner at a restaurant on Mon Chéri Cruises.

From 9:00pm to 10:00pm, immerse yourself in the nightlife of Ha Long Bay on the deck. Enjoy music and a glass of cocktail from the bar, fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in your room and watch Ha Long Bay from the balcony.

Day 3: Explore Cat Ba World Biosphere And Return To Tuan Chau Port - Hanoi

Begin your day early at 6:00 am with a Tai-chi class on the deck, as you witness the stunning sunrise. Savor a light breakfast of traditional Pho or Bun Ca, accompanied by cakes, tea, and coffee, available at the restaurant from 6:45-7:15 am. Then, between 7:30-9:00 am, embark on a tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. Explore Trung Trang, one of Cat Ba Island’s most spectacular caves, and marvel at the diverse ecosystem and thousands of stalactites of various shapes.

Check out of your room at 9:30 am and enjoy lunch at the restaurant, paying any extra fees at the reception while traveling to the port. If any additional charges apply, please pay for them at the front desk. Depart for Tuan Chau Marina between 10:30-11:00 am and arrive between 11:30-11:45 am.

At 12:10, bid farewell to Ha Long Bay as we head back towards Hanoi. During the 3-hour return journey to the city, relax and appreciate the picturesque views. Our estimated arrival time in Hanoi is between 15:00-15:30, where we will drop you off at either Mon Cheri Cruise office or your hotel located in the old quarter.
