Discover Ninh Binh In 24 Hours

With just a short trip, you can explore many of the area’s famous heritage sites in Ninh Binh.

Only about 100 km from Hanoi. Ninh Binh is a suitable option for those who are short of time and want to explore the majestic nature. This is also a destination to go at any times of the year. But the most beautiful is still spring and summer.

If you only have one day in Ninh Binh, where should you go? Here is a reference schedule:

Schedule 2 Day trip to Ninh Binh from Hanoi

Day 1:

Afternoon transfer to Ninh Binh, check-in hotel and rest.

Day 2:

  • 6h – Breakfast, buy tickets to visit Tam Coc – Bich Dong or see Trang An scenic boat.
  • 12h – Check out the hotel and have lunch with specialties, rest.
  • 14h – Move to Hang Cave, climb mountains, explore eco-tourism.
  • 16h – On the way back to Hanoi, finish the journey.

To save time traveling to the boat landing and buying tickets. You should book a hotel nearby as possible. Here the service is very developed and diverse. In the morning, get up early for a walk and have breakfast at the hotel. Then walk to the boat pier to buy tickets.

Tickets to visit 120,000 VND per person. boat ticket 150,000 VND per boat for a maximum of 4 people. If you go to group 4 people will be very convenient because one boat. But if you go less and want to save so you can share boat with other.

Tam Coc - Mua Cave - Ninh Binh

The boat trip through three caves. And it will take about 2 hours. You will travel first Hang Ca is 127 m long, through a large mountain, the cave is over 20m wide. In the cool cave there are many stalactites hanging down with many kinds of images. Next you will discover Hang Hai cave nearly one kilometer long with a length of 60m, many stalactites hanging down very strange. And the last is Hang Ba is near Hai cave and 50 meters long, cave ceiling is like a rock arch, lower than the other two caves.

Beside the boat ride down Ngo Dong stream, through the mountain caves. Visitors can also visit Bich Dong Temple (Nam Thien De Nhi Dong) and Thai Vi Temple.

After the tour, visitors back to the hotel to check out,and have lunch. Tam Coc – Bich Dong resort also has many restaurants, fine restaurants, moderate prices introduced on Tripadvisor for visitors to choose.

After lunch, continue our trip to Mua Cave. It’s about 4.5 km away from Tam Coc. In addition to beautiful scenery, there is a path leading up to the mountain. The dance is built on the architecture of the Great Wall with nearly 500 stone steps. From here can view the landscape of Tam Coc from above.

Tickets to visit here is 100,000 VND per person. In the resort, there are local specialty shops, refreshing beverages, and spacious ponds that are perfect for relaxing after the summit.

Visitors can spend about 2-3 hours in the tourist area to visit, take pictures, eat food, then back to Hanoi.
