Guests can take the bus number 14 to the Hoan Kiem Lake. This monument complex has become one of the symbols of the capital’s history, culture and landscape. It offers great value in many aspects and a common destination for visitors to Hanoi. We will start from Co Nhue Bridge. Some interesting stops along the way are Thang Long Bridge, Hang Dau, Lo Su and Dinh Tien Hoang.

When at Hoan Kiem, you can be immersed in wonderful monuments. The turtle tower (Quy Son tower) is built on brick mound floating in the lake. The tower includes 4 floors, with 5 arches, pyramid-shaped roof.

Ngoc Son Temple is located on Ngoc Island in Hoan Kiem Lake, including many different categories. The most prominent is the Pen Tower. It was built on the 4m high rock (Mount Ton Mountain) with 5 floors. The pyramid is shaped like a pen. The northern side of the tower recorded “Ta thanh Thien” (written in blue sky). This is to commemorate the merits of the fallen soldiers.

The Huc Bridge has a curved, rainbow-shaped, of 45m long, 2.6m wide. It was made entirely of wood with iron bar bridges. The bridge consists of 15 spans, each is 3m long. And the supporting platform is made of concrete and plugs deep into the reservoir.

Next to Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi bus tour will take you to Hanoi Old Quarter. The best bus to take is number 09. We will begin at Hoan Kiem Lake, through Le Thai To and Ba Trieu. We also go through ancient peaceful streets such as Phan Boi Chau and Hai Ba Trung before stopping at Hang Bai street. This is the longest metropolitan area of Hanoi. It is located outside the Imperial City of Thang Long. Throughout the length of 1,000 feudal landscapes, this urban area is home to small-scale industrial and commercial activities.

This formed up the characteristic streets that make up the famous 36 streets. The Old Quarter is like a separate system of urban residents. So, here visitors can see a picture the ancient and historic Thang Long – Dong Do – Hanoi.

Visit Vietnam’s First University – Quoc Tu Giam

The next stop in the Hanoi bus tour is Van Mieu, one of 23 special national monuments. The bus number 02 begin from Hang Khay street. We can stop at many interesting streets like Trang Thi or Chu Van An. Our stop is at Ton Duc Thang, where Van Mieu is located. Here, visitors will visit Van Lake, and Giong Garden. Van Mieu is a place to worship Chu Van An and Quoc Tu Giam – the first university of Vietnam. Surrounding this area is a brick wall. Inside the temple is divided into 5 layers of space with different architecture. Each class is limited by a brick wall with three interconnected doors (center door and two side doors).

Accordingly, tourists will go through the gates of the Temple of Literature, Dai Trung, Dai Thanh and Thai Nguyen Gate. With more than 700 years of history, this place has trained thousands of talents for the country. Particularly, in this relic complex, there is the Thang Long Literature stone. This stone has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage.
