~ Traveling to Vietnam’s Biggest lake on the mountain!
Puong Cave is a large cave in the north of the park through which the Nang River flows. The main cave is up to 50 meters high and about 300 meters long. It is inhabited by a population of 5 to 10 000 bats belonging to 18 species. The “Fairy Pond” is rock basin filled with clear water which seeps through the surrounding limestone rock. The Dau Dang Waterfall is formed by the Nang River. It consist of a sequence of rapids which stretch over a length of almost one kilometer. Widow Island is a small, cone-shaped islet near the center of the southern lake. According to the local legend, the islet was once the home of an old widow who was spared from a flood through divine intervention.

Day 1: Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Backan – Babe.
Green tea farm
Depart at 7: 00 am from your hotel for Ba Be National Park, which is located in limestone Karts Mountains. Babe means “Three Lakes”. In fact, there is only one large lake with three different sections. Take a short break for a visit to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen city. Then we stop for lunch in Bac Can town in a small restaurant. Arrival in Ba Be. Easy trek in National Park along lake’s side to Pac Ngoi village, the village of Tay hill tribe, check-in the home stay and dinner with local food here. Overnight in the village.

Day 02: Morning Canoeing on the lake – Hanoi
Widow Island is a small, cone-shaped islet near the center of the southern lake.
Wake up by the bird chirping, this will be the scarce moment of tranquility that we feel the isolation from the cities bustling and very close to nature. Breakfast then start discovering the subtle and imposing beauty of the area just on the local boat. We glide along the lakes, river and through the pretty cave, the whole journey offers great natural scenery.
say goodbye to the Captain and leave this small village for Hanoi by 11:30 am. Take car/van back to Hanoi . lunch on the way, we arrive at Hanoi by around 5.30 pm.
