Feature: We will visit the historic spot on the DMZ, the partition of North & South Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh trails and more of the vestiges of the war. In addition to that, we will also visit the Taoi ethnic, stay at their home, great chances for us to learn more about their culture & history.

Itinerary in Detail:

Day 1: Hue – Khe sanh, DMZ – Aluoi

Depart at your hotel at 7: 30am. Then, you will transfer to Dong Ha town to visit the Demilitarization Zone. This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites including Hien Luong bridge, Museum, Ben Hai river, the 17th Parallel, Vinh Moc tunnel and Cua Tung beach. The driver will ride you back to Dong Ha town for having lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, You will go on visiting Rock pile, Khe Sanh Combat Base and Ta Con airport. After that you will be transferred to A Luoi far away 120 km on Ho Chi Minh Trail. All of these names recall are very much associated with the war in Vietnam. Along the way you will be stopped to visit Darkrong Bridge. Here you also have chance to meet Katu, Van Kieu and Paco minority people in the Viet Nam Central. On arrival A Luoi, check in Stilt house of Ta Oi minority people in A Hua village. Have dinner on stilt house and taste special foods of Ta Oi minority people as well as enjoy cultural show of ethnic people. Stay overnight at the traditional communal house.

Day 2: Aluoi – Hue

Check out stilt house after you enjoy the fresh air of early morning in the mountainous. Have breakfast at a local restaurant in A Luoi centre. Then you will have a trekking to Hamburger Hill – with another nickname 937 hill. On the summit of the hill you can have the panorama of the airport and the combat base. Today you spend about 3 hours for trekking up and down the hill. After that you will leave A Luoi to return Hue city. On the way back Hue city you can stopover to visit Minh Mang tomb. Arrive Hue around 5.00pm.
